The retreat is a joint project of YALDAH Magazine and Bat Mitzvah Camp of the Capital District.

The Jewish Girls Retreat offers girls a well rounded, meaningful, and fun summer/winter camp experience filled with moments of self-discovery and Jewish pride. The atmosphere is exciting and nurturing for both body and soul to grow and flourish. Campers discover talents and develop social skills. Girls explore their role as young Jewish women through a combination of art, nature, drama and adventurous trips. With an emphasis on self expression, tradition and community, every camper leaves with greater self-confidence, Jewish pride, and life long friendships with girls from all backgrounds and affiliations. The Retreat is offered for three weeks in the summer and a weekend in the winter.

 

The Retreat Mission

We hope to provide an unforgettable experience where girls can form friendships and unity between Jewish girls. We want to explore how girls can learn about Judaism through activities involving art, music, dance, writing, and drama. And of course, we want every single girl to have FUN!!
